It is said that this was once the fort of Sultan which was later converted to a Museum. This is well maintained and a must see place for every person stepping into Muscat. Parking to be managed though

Great complex with the Sultan's palace, Al-Jalali Fort and Al-Mirani Fort and 2 museums. The French-Omani museum is not known between the locals so don't trust your guide to show it to you. Unfortunately the museums were closed during Eid holidays. It leaves you with...More
