Fascinating

Wonderful to visit though I would get there early to avoid as much of the crowds as possible. Many people after 10 am.

The Temples at Agrigento are exquisite. Be prepared to have your mind blown. Take a camera, a hat, sunglasses and time. Look around. Sit and think about the years and people who have been at that site.

So many temples in one place. We were shown around and marvelled at the scale and magnitude. Worth a visit.

Great archaeological ruins that demostrates ancient ingenuity in raising pillars and setting stones without the help of modern technology.

Never knew there we so many spectacular Greek temples in Sicily. Saw this one on an escorted tour of Sicily. Clearly in ruin but no less fascinating than anything you see in Greece.

Templi di Giunone is one of four ancient Greek temples in ruins near Agrigento, massive columns reach into the sky. Stroll into the park area and visit all four sites, takes about two hours...wear shades and a hat, no shade in the heat. Great pictures!

This place has many well preserved buildings and an elevated outlook .We walked the full length of the access road on foot and back then drove to the museum. It was only Afterward we realised how close to the museum we were.

The Tempio di Giunone is located in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. This temple is no where near being in a restored state but it is worth visiting as you can see the various sizes of stones and the work that goes in to building each of the temples. It is amazing to think that these structures were... More
