This lovely church has a blend of Roman and Zmedieval architecture. You can see the recycled Roman columns used to dsupport the ceiling and even fond of the original painted stucco art. It is airy and quiet and a nice place to stop and reflect

Was not open when we walked by. The town appears to close down in the middle of the day but not for the normal European lunch break but for the bulk of the day.

If you are in Benevento or in its proximity you must make a stop to see this unique church. Italy is full of churches and cathedrals and basilicas but this small, simple church holds a true and fascinating charm and it is different from most.

If you like to visit old churches and compare various designs then you should visit this one. It has an interesting design which reflects a deviation from other earlier churches. If you in town, it is worth a look.
