Cycling to Laghi Cancano

We rode up from Bormio,. A 700m climb with lots of zig zags so a good work out. Nice MTB ride around the lakes and up to Swiss border. Plenty of rifugi for refreshment stops

This is a great place to take family with pre-teen and teen kids who like to dirt bike. It is also nice for older people, like myself, who like to walk and take in nature. This is the most important dam in the Valtellina, but what makes it so nice is that their is a wonderful dirt road which goes... More

Very nice for biking on amazing scenery. Not too good if you have young kids with little bike experience.

This is a beautiful place with lots of walks, spectacular views and two man made lakes with emerald colour walks. Thoroughly recommended when visiting the area

Great short ride from Bormio. Have to pay to enter if you are in a car. worth the trip. I would recommend riding out there.

Worth paying 6€ to park at the top of the lake. There is a shuttle 'bus' around the lake but we walked all round. Lovely! Made even better with a great hostelry halfway round with deckchairs on the grass!

Cycled around the lake with great views and huge dam. Lots of places to go in and have a bite to eat.

We went on our bikes up and it was a fun ride. The towers on the top gave a historical feeling. Then there was a non-paved road going around the lake. It made the lake feel like someone was trying to do something with it, but just left it half way done... either leave alone or do something nice

The 'lake' is a reservoir which was very empty with bare banks and a generally desolate air to it. Not worth the effort going up to it.

I cycled all the way there with some friends. Lovely quite roads, challenging mountain, then you get rewarded with amazing views.
