Not just an incredible museum with interesting displays, but an entire EXPO to explore in the historic centre which is well worth a visit. Beautiful galleries that suit a vast range of tastes - there really is something for everyone and all ages, including a 3D cinema!

In a very pleasent part of Tuscany You find Chianciano with its etruscan story and memories from a glorious time. Close to Rome and Florence and very close to La Foce, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulciano and Pienza as well as Chiusi with its excellent museum. In Chianciano itself You can enjoy beautiful walks and great termal treatments as well. The most... More

Lots of art of all types over a massive space. Definitely a must in chianciano but only opens in June for the season apart from the occasional weekend like now (Italian public holiday). Check in advance but an amazing treat.

as of mid November, 2013 the museum is unfortunately closed. This museum in conjunction with a trip to the Etruscan Museum in Chuisi would be a perfect day trip, but not to be until they reopen.

The English notice on the door explained this, but didn't actually say it was closed or for how long. Not having been able to get in, I can't... More

We particularly visited this museum because of the special exhibition of drawings and etchings - it was well done. The other art works are also good without being spectacular.

Beautiful show and great team of curators. Marching band to open the show and all. A lovely bit of fun and culture in a small town
