Takes you back in time. I met friendly people on my wandering as was invited into a graduation party... Well worth the journey. Ferrara is a beautiful medieval city well worth a visit.

Loved the Via delle Volte for it's apparently unchanged appearance. Quiet and cool to walk down when we visited. Gives a real feel of times gone by.

We followed the Via Capo delle Volte the whole way along its very length as it was part of the Blue walking trail on the tourist map of Ferrara. We could not understand why this street was supposed to be so special.

There are so many photo opportunities as you stroll along this lovely medieval street. It is quite long, but well worth the walk.
