We had a really nice day out with MareGiglio... Booking ahead was simple, and emails were always clear and promptly responded to. The boat itself was nice and big, and even though it was busy, it didn’t feel particularly crowded. They clearly don’t get too many non-Italian customers (think we were the only Brits on the day!) as all of the announcements were in Italian. Never an issue though as the crew were on hand and happy to answer any of our questions. The food was particularly good, and was a pleasant surprise as wasn’t expecting too much....but genuinely was very good! Definitely worth a day out!…

It seemed an average sort of mini cruise to us and the lunch was pretty good, considering how cheap it was, but on the whole it was nothing special. We didnt make it to Giannutri because of the weather so to be honest we could have easily caught the ferry for far less over to Giglio Island. Also if you are not Italian there are no announcements in any other language so you are a little vague on what the rules are. Staff were all friendlya nd Giglio was well worth a visit.…
