Plenty to do for the children here we were staying on the camp site and popped in to the hop farm found the food hall a bit clinical but as its all for the kids we didn't bother. But went into Bella Italia for lunch and it was good.

This place has a good concept where you pay as little or as much as you like which is nice as a lot of places you go there is a large entrance fee even if you are not going on anything. The outdoor play area is great and it is included in the entry fee the jumping pillows were a... More

Young kids might like it (poor dears don't know any better) but it's clearly a dodgy theme park. It's only £1pp to get in but pretty much everything inside costs money from £1 to £5 per go per person so the £'s quickly add up. Make sure you don't buy too many tokens (the system for paying for things) as... More

My advice, save your time and your money. Been with my kids 2.6 and 5 years to see the animals as we love the pet farms but it turned into our worst experience. Starting from the entrance where realised the 1£/ person advertised on the website is actually an addtrap. You'll have to pay for everything inside starting from 2... More

Went here over Easter weekend, walked in, brought 5 tokens, walked around and went straight back out again. £3 for small indoor soft play, and £3 for hook-duck, rip off. Tiny animal area, horses on barely any grass etc. No room. Don't bother going. Takes about 10 mins to do the whole place.

The Hop farm has gone through a chamge of management in the past couple of years and I think they are still finding their feet. The idea of allowing free entry and then charging for the rides is a good one but we have een put off going back because there is a charge for parking, the kids soft play... More

Thank you for visiting the Hop Farm and your feedback. We do have to clarify some of the comments as they are incorrect. There's been no change of management in many years and parking has been free for many years too. More

I have known about this place for a long time but never visited. The only real attraction was the entrance price which is an obvious ploy! This may be a useful place for those with very young children but if they are over about 8, there is very little of interest. As you arrive we were met by a queue,... More

I don't usually review places unless they are worth visiting but after visiting the hop farm I am moved to advise you avoid this place at all costs. Extremely run down and all the facilities are filthy. The baby change area was dirty with cracked tiles on the wall and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The animal... More

Visited with two young children (3 and 5 years). On the plus side, the kids liked some of the attractions, the funfair rides, the pet farm and the magic castle. The younger child was bored at the children's story telling and showed little interest in the animals in the farm. Also parking is free (well it's a long way from... More
