An interesting half hour- beautiful setting

We had a personal and very interesting tour of these beautiful artefacts in this museum from the very knowledgeable resident archaeologist, Daniele. Fascinating pieces that he and others have discovered locally. Donation appreciated at the end.

minute but magnificent

This little museum hidden away behind pine trees overlooking the beaches of Palinuro is a total delight. Parking is on the road and by payment but once you enter the entrance is free. The curator explains every single artefact to you and is an archaeologist so is credible and detailed in his explanations. There is no air conditioning but it is one room and the visit takes 30 minutes max. However there are some unique and priceless finds so well worth a visit.

Nice little museum with a great collection

Well worth a stop if you are passing by/through Palinuro. No entry fee, but a donation is expected. The staff person there provided us with a small explanation of key artifacts in the collection (he only spoke Italian).
