Enjoyed walking up to the terrace and getting some nice 360 views. The grotto can be seen from here. Interesting sculpture of a woman on a bench.

The seaside village of Porto Venere is striking to see from the water and fun to explore. The church is at the end of the line - literally perched at the end of the rock at the water's edge. The church itself is rather simple...More

Great view—worth the hike! Free! Better than the castle for 5€! Simple church inside, but the grounds are breathtaking!

Past the shops and restaurants. Past the grotto, you come to a very quaint little church perched on the last little bit of rock. Very worth the walk.

You can see this church on your boat ride in. And honestly, there's not too much to look at Porto Venere besides this church anyway. When we visited this church, there was a wedding going on so we couldn't enter the main sanctuary but we...More

We didn’t realise at first that this is a working church still. We lit candles and made donations for the upkeep, it is also a good place to meditate a little. But the views....we all fell in love.

Steeped in History this small church sits on the cliff top entrance to the Port. Made of local stone and still active it has dramatic entrance doors worth a look on their own and you can access the roof top for additional scenic views. If...More
