Yes its a amazing colour But the tourist hype is really something I could live without. Its expensive for 5 minutes of blue water ! Don't know if I would rush to see it again. But when in Rome... or Capri....

Really beautiful. Only takes about 10 minutes. Tour guides cram you in a boat, tell you they expect a tip, and then paddle around for a few minutes.

We had booked a boat and driver for the day. He suggested we stop here for a peek at this natural wonder. The sad thing is that you have to pay your Euro to jump aboard a barge of sorts with a super cheesy driver...More

There are two ways to take the visit to the Grotto: one can look at it as a scam, or consider it quite amusing. We prefer the latter, though there are strong arguments for the former. The ten-minute boat ride, with its views of the...More

Worth a trip out to the Emerald Grotto! If you have the time and the opportunity, this is a great place to relax and view the grotto. Would love to come back and spend more time exploring the many grottos the Amalfi Coast has to...More

We stopped by here on our Amalfi boat tour. The grotto itself is kinda nice I guess and if you don't care about the euro, it's worth stopping in. But the little 10 min boat ride wasn't really worth it. The boatman has clearly been...More

If people want to talk tourist trap, try paying €13 for the 90 minute wait and 6 minute experience of the Blue Grotto in Capri. What makes this grotto special is the fact the cavern is under the water, the blue is from the reflection...More

Not sure why all the grumpy reviews - if you've managed to make it to the Amalfi, then I fail to see how 5 euro to visit a natural wonder is a hardship. Lovely glimpse of nature at its best, you can't swim in this...More

It is the biggest tourist trap ever!! The entrance is 5 euros for about 5 minutes of boat in a tiny grotta. The first thing the captain tells us is that he wants tips and he keeps telling the same 3 things about the grotta....More
