I stayed with my wife and two young girls in August. The pros were: very kind and attentive staff, very clean rooms and grounds, efficient shuttle service from/to the beach. The major cons I have found is that the facility needs some updates and renovation. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Hotel built in the seventies, obviously aimed at conferences, at first glance it appears enormous and impersonal but in actual fact it's been refurbished with tasteful touches. The rooms ( I had a standard) are rather minimalist but clean and efficient, especially for a resort near the sea: any spot of dirt would be clearly visible. Only faults I could find were lack of drawers for putting away clothes and lack of sockets for charging computer/tablet/phone. I had to unplug a table lamp and could only charge one at a time. Free wifi in common areas and cable available on request in room but not much use with mac or iPad. Bathroom small but adequate. On to the good points. Splendid breakfast buffet with wid selection of cakes, patries and preserves, excellent savouries including local cheeses and ricotta, prosciutto, smoked fish, changing every day- none of that plastic processed rubbish you often get- variety of cereals and muesly, a whoke table with slection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, breads and of course eggs, bacon an sausages. Teas and coffee available or Cappuccino , espresso, etc on request. No frightfully loud radio playing as background in dining room, which is well appointed and looks out on the garden. Bliss. Private beach a few minutes away with a shuttle service every 10-15 minutes starting at 09:00am until evening. Room rate includes a sun bed, two deck chairs, a beach umbrella and towels. Really good value. Large outdoor swimming pool at hotel, with bar that serves snacks for lunch, but one can also order pasta or salad. The same goes for the beach bar which has a splendid view. As the restaurant is next door one can order from the restaurant menu and they'll deliver your order. Dinner menu in hotel is excellent with reasonably priced wines. You can order from menu and / or help yourself from the buffet. Wide selection of vegetables and salads so fine for vegetarians and vegans. Didn't use the spa much as the weather was glorious and went to the beach every day, but it sports a small indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Can't remember if turkish bath too. Small fitness room with treadmil and sports equipment. Massages are available, so if the weather is bad plenty to do at hotel. Excursions offered and a wine tasting too. The staff is efficient, friendly and smiling. I managed to lock myself out of my safe three times (!!) and someone arrived within minutes to help me. I was a bit uncertain when I booked as I'd never chosen a place through a travel agency and catalogue before and was prepared for a disappointment, especially as many reviews were negative so I was really pleasantly surprised. On the whole a very pleasureable experience. Going back next summer.
