We walked from Ragusa Ibla to visit this church and weren't disappointed although we were very hot as you have to climb over 300 steps to get there - definitely worth it though. Built in C14th on the site of a Norman convent, it was rebuilt after the earthquake but it still has it's original Gothic portal and bell tower. The C16th terracotta image of the Virgin Mary is fabulous.…

Lovely little church to visit. One of the best places for taking photos of the views from the steps as they wind down and over to Ragusa Ibla.

The terrace of this fifteenth century church gives a perfect view on Ragusa Ibla. An easy 10 minutes walk from the Ragasu superiore cathedral. It features the very antique remains of an exterior pulpit. It is also a good exit point to walk to Ragusa Ibla.
