While walking this scenic route between Ravello and Minori you can view, from vantage points atop cliffs, in gardens or roadways, sweeping vistas along the seacoast.

We are in our 60's and in fairly good shape and had no problem walking down, much easier than the Amalfi walk and very picturesque. $30 euro for the cab back up to Ravello

Went from Ravello to Minori in the middle of May, wouldn't want to try it the other way around since it is a lot of steps. Truly breathtaking hike just enough exercise but the views distract you the whole 40 minutes down the hill. The...More

We stayed on top of a hill in Minori, so we had to hike down where we stayed and then hike up to get to Ravello. There are a LOT of steps but worth the view. Once you make it to Ravello, there is beautiful...More

Although its been a year & half since our family of 4 ventured on this walk/hike, it remains one of the highlights of our time on the Amalfi Coast. We based ourselves in Minori for the week (June 2015) & began this trek after breakfast...More

Nobody said there were just straight up steps to Ravello. Wow were we beat! Should have practiced in the Empire State Building! Don't do it unless preparing for marathon or triathlon.

....than the one to Atrani/Amalfi. The steps are mostly terraced rather than steep if you stay on the right track. Still a bit tough on the calfs and knees but a lot safer. You can walk onto Maiori but note this is on the road...More

My wife and I together with our three young children (12, 10, 7) walked down from the centre of Ravello to Minori. Waking along the narrow paths in the heat, past old grapevines and lemon groves was truly spectacular and one of the highlights of...More

Escape the tourist crowds in Ravello and follow the path down to Minori on the coast. There are many steps down , flat walking shoes recommended, and though there are handrails in parts a stick or walking pole is a help too. Stop along the...More

How many actual steps are there; and how many kilometres does it work out to be going up and a return down? I walked it 4 times in Sept.2016.... I loved Ravello.

I have no idea. You should have done it 5 times and counted!
We are going to be in this area in July and am wondering about transportation. We will be taking a car from positano to ravello and it will be dropping us off. Somehow we need to get from Ravello to Minuta either by taxi or bus. I can't find any bus information so am wondering if taxis are readily available in the area. We will be walking from Minuta down to amalfi. Any information you could tell me would be really helpful. Thanks everybody.
