A great way to burn off some pasta!

We did this walk in late September. It's not for the 'faint-hearted'. It took us over an hour and we lost count of all the steps. Only try this walk if you have a reasonable level of fitness. However, the views are lovely and there is are hand-rails most of the way down. Make sure to have a refreshing drink... More

This was such a beautiful route - we walked down to Minori from Ravello under lime and lemon trees, met friendly kittens, poked our heads into 10th century churches, and were greeted by the friendly and quaint Minori where we went swimming in the sea. The walk back up is only for the very fit. My partner and I are... More

Do not attempt to walk back up. There are over 1000 steps apparently but it seemed much more. Go at your own pace and stop frequently to take in the views then when you arrive find a nice cafe for much needed refreshments. Legs can be very sore the next day but worth it.

If you are holidaying on the Amalfi coast take the bus up to Ravello from Amalfi and after a couple of hours of sightseeing there walk down the old paths through the terraces to Minori. It will take you about an hour and it is a walk back through time. The paths that you will take are the original roads... More

Our planned walk had to be aborted due to unexpected rain which went from light to torrential and made walking anywhere impossible. Without a car we'd have wasted the day and missed everything. You need a car!!!!

We walked slowly from Ravello, just by the Villa Cimbrone, right down to Minori where we were staying, and had such a lovely walk. We enjoyed the thousands of steps down...not steps all the way, also lanes...passing lemon groves (guarded by loud dogs!), and local homes, and churches, and my favourite...Mamma Agatta's...The views are inspiring and so enjoyable, I envy... Thoroughly enjoyed this walk, in spite of the intense heat and humidity. June is not a good month to do it comfort wise. We stayed in Amalfi and caught a bus up the very steep climb to Ravello - passed other walkers coming up as we were going down and they wished they had also caught the bus up. Loved... More

We walked from Ravello to Minori in a bright day of April. It was just perfect: warm sunshine, beautiful views, gardens with lemons, vistas of the sea and of the coast. The walk is a long long stairway (I guess, thousands of steps): so, if you are going downward from Ravello to Minori there is no problem at all unless... More

Holidaying in Scala we decided to do the Ravello-Minori walk. Both are quite fit and walk quite a lot at home. We totally underestimated the number of steps (as did others we came across) partly due to the fact that it is not a straight walk down but the steps zig zag occasionally but it is mainly steeply downwards The... I try to do this walk whenever I visit the Amalfi Coast. I've usually done the walk the other way around, i.e., from Minori to Ravello (partly because I like a challenge, but also because nothing can beat the beer at the bar in Ravello when you get the top!). There are some beautiful views but I also love the... More
