This is a lovely walk although you do have to watch out for cyclists who seem to think they have right of way! The views across the lake are stunning.

My two daughters, aged 12 and 14, and I hired bikes from Torbole and cycled to Riva Del Garda and then on this path. This was actually one of our best memories of our 10 day Tuscany tour! There are plenty of steep sections and also pedestrians to look out for, so go carefully. At the same time, there are... More

Great walk, not too difficult with sensible shoes. Scenery fantastic. Not too busy in April, can't speak for the peak times. Sun on it in the morning., but plenty of tunnels to cool off in. Fantastic!

Nice trekking. We have decided to go first 3km from Riva to end of MTB route. I takes less than an hour of easy walk with breaks to take pictures. I have also explored higher parts (to Pregasina) with my roadbike on another day and they are surely worth visiting, however if you don't have whole day - 2 hours... More

A lovely place to walk and so many stopping places for food and rest. Watch out for bikes as the really make use of their designated areas. Really enjoyed this area

This is a beautiful walk with the most amazing views of the lake and all over Garda. You do need to be careful as it's slippy underfoot in some parts with loose stones etc. You also need to pay attention to the mountain bikers who share the same path as the walkers for most of the way. There is a... More

This is a wonderful walk with stunning views across the lake. You need to take care as it is used by a considerable number of cyclists. You can enjoy a coffee (or more) at the restaurant near the top. Don't miss it!!

To reach the old pondale path ..go pass the harbour and the power station, careful crossing the road before the road tunnel. This is a gravel path that follows the cliff up the mountain ..it takes about 2 hours leisurely walk to reach the coffee shop up the mountain. Even though pedestrians have the right of way be careful as... More

I remember when this path first opened some 15 years ago - long before mountain bikes! It's still worth the effort and the small restaurant at Pregasina is a welcoming destination.
