That in itself merits the trip. And you can bring your kids along (please no holes in their socks:-) ) There is a beautiful in whichthey can play and they will love to. Lots of photography old and modern. And the area has some nice restaurants and patisseries. Try Portineria for example

Maybe I had too many expectations. Maybe it was a rainy day. Maybe a couple of days before I visited the new MUSE in Trento (enjoy it!). But I found MART even ordinary and outdated, similar to many other museums in its "total white" suit, with few works and lot of empty spaces. And I got considerably depressed by inadequate... More

The museum is well designed. And the exhibitions there were well arranged. I had a wonderful holiday there, and the open area of the museum is really nice. You can just take a walk, enjoy the mountain views from the upper garden plaza of the museum.

... oh photos, some disturbing, some with interesting techniques, some just beautiful. We did not like the current exhibition that much. But the museum itself is architectonically impressive

Whilst in a small town like Rovereto you wouldn't expect to find a collection of international scale, it is truly hidden inside the MART. I was shocked by the amount and the diversity of modern art that could be found in the MART. For art lovers its really worth a look

A magic well proportioned container in a surreal mountain town setting. Although I was not fond of the "mausoleum like" dome I found the circular shape building to embrace perfectly its purpose. The permanent collection is outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the Soviet propaganda poster exhibition. Kudos to the curators for the balance and harmony of the installations. Honestly, it tops... Nice building but has only 2-3 galleries. The upper gallery is the biggest one - the exhibition we saw was very crowded and had too much comparing the space

It is a great Museum with an impressive permanent collection. You can get discounts if you arrived by train. You can also get entry to both Casa d'Arte Futurista and MART for the same price. They are both terrific venues and worth the trip besides which Rovereto is a beautiful town.
