Montecasale is a complete and enchanting surprise. All by itself at the end of a long windy road up the mountains surrounded by natural, unspoiled -- almost seemingly untouched -- environs, the place is almost mystical in its beauty and spirituality.

For visitors here the Convento di Montecasale seems to me to be the same as Eremo di Montecasale. I have just visited The Eremo and looked at the photos here and it is the same place. Enjoy it really a fantastic experience.
