Like most Italian churches, this one deserves a walk around. The church is not as flamboyant as some, but the artwork and architecture are interesting. Stop and enjoy it for a while, it's worth it.

As we approached this cathedral after making our way up the hills of Spoleto...it was quite stately and beautiful. The intricate arches in the front invite you to come inside and appreciate the interior space. Check out the beautiful paintings and murals around the altar...More

A gem! We are spoilt for the rich marble and rich chapels. The one with black madonna can be admired for hours!

Spoleto is a well kept secret but the lack of tourist hordes is probably one of its charms. It is an elegant and noble looking town and the duomo was spectacular with beautiful frescoes. We spent about 1 hour looking around with our 4yo son....More

This is a fantastic attraction and can be easily accessed via the travelators fitted in the streets. Worth a visit for the views even if you don't go in.

Make sure to see the chapels on either side of the main altar. Frescoes and sculpture of the highest quality.
