Last stop on the Aeolian islands boat tour. The vulcano erupts every 15-20 mins approx. We went on a clear night and the backdrop sky was a blanket of stars ..... beautiful.

It was very cool to dock off the island of Stromboli and watch the eruption in the evening while sipping wine.

It is about 2,5 hours to go up and about 1,5 hours to walk down. The distance in km is not really much.
