Attended Sunday morning mass- amazing

There are larger than life-sized marble statues of the 12 apostles throughout the church. There is also a miracle associated with a mosaic above the altar.

Nice but not breath taking...BIG and very light and airy. Lots of parking. Just outside the Todi walls. Can't miss it.

A nice Renaissance church just outside of todi . Very special architecture. Worth a short visit . Not a must , on the way in or out of todi.

It's difficult, given the paucity of reviews on TripAdvisor, to imagine how so many have missed this altogether impressive Todi's Tempo di Santa Maria della Consolation, immediately outside the official town itself. Perhaps it has something to do with Umbria yet so emphatically on the rise. It's natives reminded me of the region's overall poverty (hard to imagine) only fifty... More

Perfect balance between art, nature and architecture. Come, sit and admire it. And it is just the starting point of an unforgettable trip to this unique historic town.

As I walked along Via Melsungen in Todi, surrounded by trees, I caught a glimpse of something through the trees but I could not work it out. So I walked on looking constantly in that direction till my breath was stollen from me through a gap, perfectly aligned with roof of this Tempio. I fallowed the path down to the... More

Interesting because of its unique architectural design, this very large church is just outside the town walls (the city is very small) and well used for local events. The interior is imposing but pretty stark. Baroque altar.

A small little church which is, nevertheless, beautiful inside. I'll leave the history to those more expert, but this is often called the Bramante (hence the hotel of the same name a few steps away) and whether Bramante designed it or simply inspired it, you get a little piece of St. Peter's here in the Umbrian hills. Worth a visit.... More

Brian Sewell rates this the best small Renaissance church in Italy, and I agree. The exterior, attributed to Bramante, is perfect. I was not finished until a 100 years later, so the interior is Baroque and not as fine, unfortunately.
