A jewel of a museum. Just large enough, very charming. Don't miss the best: the Etruscan tomb. It's out beyond the portico on the top floor.

This museum is below the Borghese gardens, a bit hard to find, but worth the time. The collection of Etruscan artifacts is well presented with thorough signage, and the displayed pieces are stunning. Plan to spend at least an hour viewing all of the exhibits.

If your interest is in the Etruscans then this museum is a must. As ever, leaflets and guides in English had run out but the explanation and information boards throughout the museum and thorough and have English translations.

I went here the other day for my drawing class, and was very happy with the exhibit. Even though it was pouring down rain, this place was still beautiful and full of incredible history. It has been renovated many times in history, and you are...More
