We were amazed by the cliffs and the fact that they have built stairs and bridges to be able to access the area. It feels safe and secured and makes it possible, even with young children to see the cliffs up close. We climbed even further out on the rocks and enjoyed the beauty of the sea hitting the rocks... Helligdomsklipperne offers spectacular views of a ragged, rocky coastline on Northern Bornholm. Probably best enjoyed by boat (MS Thor travels from Gudhjem multiple times a day), you get a good impression from the landside. I would recommend though to expand your visit by following the coastal tracks either north or south, well marked tracks that's not busy and offers the... More

We came in February on an ice cold sunny day. My fiancee is pregnant. We have a 15 year old girl with us an a 9 year old + two tiny dogs. I read about all the steps.. and it was great. We saw all the amazing sites at this place but the most and greatest experience we had on... More

Don,t judge the museum from the outside can look boring. It said it is breathaking with the huge windows and views of the Baltic and exhibtion in themselves. Well worth a visit.

Take the boat Thor from Gudhjem out to the rock formation Helligdomsklipperne and walk back to Gudhjem (after visiting the amazing art museum). The path is very beautiful and you walk high above the sea. Halfway you can make a pit stop at an old house turned into a cafe. It is run by a friendly German lady and the... More

This is not a review of the museum; this is of the viewpoint and the rocks below. First of all it is not for people with physical difficulties, as the trail can be bumpy and narrow and there are several places with stairs. Don't despair! The same views can be had from the seaside. I would recommend taking a boat... More

The architecture of the museum (especially the inside) was very striking; good collection of the Bornholm school of artists. Good food in the cafe.

Bornholm is CREATIVY. It is everywhere and this museum does justice to it. A well thought out museum in an unexpected place. Visit the Helligdomsklipperne whil you are there as well. And then take the bus to the west coast and look at some more art!

The place is signposted and can be reached by bike via cycle path 10 (between Tejn and Gudhjem) or by car. There are four rock formations that protrude from the water. The views are spectacular. Sadly we didn't have enough time to walk round all of them, but if you have time, do spare two hours or so to complete... More

Great climb and amazing nature. Not for people having difficulties in walking and climbing!!! Den sorte gryde (The Black Cauldron) is worth the climb so be sure to wear something sensible on your feet!
