Fantastic experience. With our guide Luc we crossed the bay back and forward from Genêts to the Mont St. Michel. It took us 3 hours to get to the Mont St Michel, during the hike our guide explained us about the history of the bay, the mount, the fauna and flora you can discover and other curiosities. We visited the... More

This was the highlight of our visit to Mont St. Michel. It is the best way to approach the Mont and to experience it with its history of hundreds of years of pilgrims making their way to ask for favors, give thanks for favors received... Our guides, Luc and Jean-François, were excellent and informative. A memorable experience!

Maginificent structure that is still used for weddings even though it is over 1000 years old. The gift shop is great, too, ---could have spent a whole day there but it was a perfect excursion offered by Royal Carribean.

It is amazing when you are approaching to the Abbey! This sight is breathtaking. And than when you come to entrance streets and start to climb stairs and narrow passages, it starts to be mysterious. The whole ambient forces you to return some centuries back to try to imagine life in that time. It is realy amazing. I will also... More

We came here knowing very little about it. We came by bus from Tours terminal. The age, the beauty is unreal. This is an active monastery. So there may be a service. Many many steps. No lifts. Strollers are tried, but they are bushed at the top. Lots and lots of people. But after you top the steps they really thin... More

The trip to see the Abbey was a highlight for us. The first glimpse is a spectacle rising above the farm fields. It is definitely for the fit as it has many stairs and narrow passages to climb but is well worth it. The car parking is a well oiled machine and a ten minutes walk to the efficient shuttle... More

We have been visiting the Normandy area and were dying to see this spot. It is unbelievable. So much to see. What we didn't like was the parking and getting to it. You can walk, which it says takes 45 minutes or there are shuttles which says 10 minute ride. The problem is the walk to the shuttle is long.... More
