Take the ferry for the short crossing and feel cut off from reality for a few hours. This enchanting island offers plenty of opportunities to walk or cycle (reasonable hire readily to hand) and we are anxious to return.

Perhaps we were lucky in that the weather was perfect, especially for late September, so we had a smooth crossing and warm sunshine for our peaceful walk right round the island. Well worth the trip from Roscoff and we're going again next year.

Lovely little island, so peaceful and pretty and we went on a day when wind and rain were plentiful! Well worth the fare of €9 for the little ferry there and back.

We decided to rent bikes in order to enjoy the most of our afternoon on the island. Good choice as we manage to tour it along the coastal path (even though we had to walk some parts of it) which is a must!
