A free museum with a short spoken English audio guide. Worth a visit with some interesting memorabilia about a very interesting and brave man. Also includes some haunting paintings by a french survivor of the concentration camp.

An excellent display, well researched of a member of the French Resistance Movement rendered more poignant as this was his family home and he himself was a prisoner of war at Dachau. It is a display to appeal to all echelons of society.

But it was hard for us to get much information from the displays, even though my... More

Fascinating exhibition covering the period of the 1940-45 occupation, with special focus on the maquis and deportees from the Brive & Correze areas, and general details of life in France during that time. This gives the exhibition a "personal touch" which distinguishes it from a more general concentration camp subject museum.
