Visiting times are separated by at least two hours and is a one hour guided tour and Staff was very helpful. Well worth a stop on the way to Paris. Children loved the history as it put meat on the bone for the history of WW1.

Very well organised visit of the tunnels using modern technology to its best. Place sensitive audio guide worth a mention.

We were in Arras for a few days to follow the route of Grandad from his arrival in France in 1917 to Arras where he was ultimately injured on April 23rd. This injury probably saved his life as he had to be returned home to recuperate. What a regret that he never spoke of his time in Arras and we... More

My grandfather was here in 1916 /1917. It is eerie to visit where he was quartered before he fought in the great Battle of Arras and Vimy Ridge.

Normally I do a lot of research and planning before going away, but for this trip as it was a visit to my great uncles grave, I decided to just wait and decide at the time. Having picked up a leaflet at the hotel this location was a no brainer and so worth the trip. There cannot be many places... More

The entrance slopes down towards the visitors area for a trip beneath the city where Commonwealth troops planned a network to surprise the Germans. Your experience starts with a dough boy helmet to give you a sense of the time and headphones to listen through the tour. A guide walks you through the tunnel network stopping at locations to see... Quite simply a must see, the tunnels are located not far from Arras station and give a fascinating insight in to life below ground in preparation for the Battle of Arras. Great value in terms of cost and education.

Our second visit over a 6 year period. Found the information and tour excellent. A family connection to Arras made the tour even more meaningful. Guide was in both French and English. Small group so there was time for individual questions to be answered. Amazing what the soldiers had to deal with 100 years ago.

Enjoyed the tour, not to sure what to expect. Everything seemed to well laid out. Did not seem authentic. Worth a visit but not one I was excited about after the visit. This could just be my take on it all
