I'm not a massive fan of modern art but I went in with some friends and really enjoyed having a look around, especially on the first Sunday of the month (when all museums in France are free). Some really interesting artworks and it seems to me that the exhibitions change quite frequently.

Spent a sunny morning in the Sculpture garden. Peaceful location and easy to get to by the efficient metro and bus.Museum itself also wonderful---so quiet. there were more staff than visitors! Had a lovely lunch in the museum cafe. Highly recommend.

Loads of modern works, there were quite a few school children visiting and to be honest some of their work was better than that on display. Other displays were excellent, I guess it depends on your tastes and your ability to see through the pretentious "commentary"

This is an unexpected pleasure hidden away in the middle of nowhere; you really need a car to get here.

Hard to find but really worth it. Wonderful sculptures on a grand scale in the park. And the trip by bus in is a great way to see the leafy suburbs. A quality gallery and a real highlight. The website sums it up. We did the 72 hr City Pass, did all the art galleries and went to Dunkirk as... More

We had both morning tea and lunch in the restaurant/cafe which was beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The art was good too!

Worth visiting for the layout, some famous work by Picasso, Braque and their influences, and the extraordinary collection of Brut art. It is a metro and bus trip from the centre of Lille but it is easy to follow and the public transport works efficiently.
