Do not spend your time and money for this museum!! Unfortunately, we did :-( Although the museum presents a variety of old ships, the collection is boring and bring nothing to enjoy.

Oh I should have read the reviews first, I've committed Trip Advisor sin I'm afraid. Really like others say, don't waste your time. Go vist some locals and buy them lunch. You'll learn much more and have a better experience for your money.

Don't go to this museum or any of the 3 others they offer. It's a scam! Just some models of old ships with no explication. We went through it on 2 min.

Or understand French but if you don't then this is not for you. The man luring you in is very good in making you part with €18 per adult! If you like French history about boats then you will love this place!! It would help if they offered a translation service in the way of a radio earpiece for the... More

save your time for other things. This was the only museum open during our stay, and our daughters were keen to see a museum on the Mont. Sadly it really wasn't worth the time or money. There was no English translation, so we watched a couple of dvds and looked at some model boats. Really can't recommend it.

No translation into English, lots of model boats in 4 rooms so nothing special. Save your money for the Abbey. This museum is offered as a package (4 museums for €18, each museum is supposedly €9 each). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Classical, unabashed... great way to spend your mony and get disappointment in exchange. This is a part of three or so "museums", and, in my opinion, the worst part.

We were talking into coming in by a slightly pushy gentleman at the front entrance. I wish I'd read the trip advisor reviews because they are all a fairly accurate portrayal; a few off floors of model boats and a small room with a shirt film about the hydraulics and engineering etc of Mont St-Michel. Very interesting I'm sure, except... More

Just terrible. Even though I spoke French for those who don't you will really understand nothing. The museum itself consists of a load of model ships and videos that had been done at least 20 years ago. The other museums in the "value pack" were not much better

We went into this museum by accident thinking it had knights and dungeons - it's quite confusing as they are pushing sales of a combo ticket for 4 museums so there is a big suit of armour at the door which my 5-year old was very excited about... we never did see any reference to knights in any of the...
