Walking through this street with all the little shops, restaurants and bakeries made me feel as if I was in Hogwarts!! Looking at the buildings and workmanship that went into the building of these very old buildings is amazing. Definitly gets your heart racing !

If you have ever visited San Gimignano, you get the feel for this. Medieval architecture, quaint signs and stores crammed to the rafters with tourist trinkets. If you like that sort of thing, you will love it here. I did enjoy the tiny walkways off...More

This is a very nice medieval street with lots of great shops and restaurants. Walk slowly so as not to miss anything on your way up tot he top of the rock to visit the abbey church.

Narrow crowded street that runs from Boulevard gate to Grand Degre, lined with tightly packed souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels.

The street itself is very charming. The shops are only average and of course cater to the tourist side of things. If you don’t find what your looking for walk a bit further.

The buildings are beautiful and old. The street is very narrow and full of shops and restaurants and cafes and very crowded. There is a very, very narrow alleyway made of steps between two buildings, which serves as a short-cut to the upper levels. The...More

A visit to and from the Abbaye starts from this street so you have time to both shop, view and eat! Lots of unusual shops to purchase unusual gifts from.

Not the longest Rue by any means but we strolled up & down both day and evening and it's pretty special ! Has Cafes, Museums, Gift shops, Restaurants, Hotels and all mostly in period condition. A real highlight of the Mont.
