Charming little neighborhood ( with some dodgier sections, but still, safe) built around the canal system. Lots of restaurants, old mills ,one of which is being repaired by unesco , cool, stuff.

Very pictoresque neighborhood. There are quite interesting building near the river and nearby there are some very beautiful gardens. Moreover, the area is full of restaurants.

You can almost believe you are in Venice as you wander around the cobbled streets surrounded by the canals. There are numerous bars and restaurants alongside the canal and there is a great ambience,

If in Amiens i really recommend visiting this are for food and drinks. we really liked the city itself but St-Leu is definately the highlight if your looking for somewhere to eat or drink, especially if the weather allows you to sit outside!

Amiens is like a sort of Venice of France. St Leu district has beautiful, colourful little houses all disposed along the canals. This view made me think a lot of Venice. Visiting Amiens was the best surprise so far.
