The international Palace of Nougat: we thought this place would be worth visiting. But it is very old and faded, selling all sorts of sweets not made on the premises, and very little nougat. Don't bother going.

I expected a bit more from this, but it looked like it could use some paint and some updating. We decided to just go to the store and get us some nougat. At the back there was a store, a place to have a coffee and for children to play and a very very small animal farm. It smells like... More

As we drove through France I remembered visiting Montellimar years ago, and buying the most wonderful nougat, so we thought we might do that again. On entering the town, we saw official signs for this place, and assumed that all the local producers had combined to sell their products in one place. Oh how wrong could we be! On the... More

It`s very expensive for what it is, the toy museum is weird and creepy and it needs updating. I think it is a cheek to ask for an entrance fee into the bouncy castle / soft play area.

Everyone knows Montelimar for the nougat......but did you know how it's made exactly and the different type (hard, soft, flavored...). Go there you will be back to your childhood and will be surprised to take a pleasure with your old friends nougat. How say it's old fashioned ?
