This ski resort has it all: great alpine skiing with loads of beginner and intermediate terrain, adventure park, the most black and double black runs as well as a world class nordic trail system.

I have yet to visit Silver Star in the winter. However, I do spend a significant amount of time riding my mountain bike there in the summer. They have a fantastic variety of well maintained mountain bike trails. Silver Star is great for the beginner to the expert. It's the perfect place to try mountain biking for the first time.... More

It was very smoky in Vernon, B.C. so took a trip up to silver Star Resort. Wow the sky was blues and no smoke. We walked around the village. Had lunch at one of the many pubs and restaurants that are up there. Can't remember the name. So if you want something different to do I suggest the Star. I... More

Snow quality excellent. The runs ranged from easy to very challenging. Village very basic with not much to do so I suggest 1 week plenty of time before moving on. Grocery store not the best we had to drive into Vernon for shopping. Not too many shuttle going into Vernon.

Best hill I've been on for downhill biking. The trails are smooth and flow. There's a good variety of trails to suit everyone. Our frustration was when we went to go back to the store t buy some t-shirts it was closed. It would help if the stores stayed open AFTER the lifts close so those of us who want... More

My family recently traveled to Silver Star for a wedding. The happy couple chose the gazebo on the side of the mountain for their ceremony. With breathtaking vistas of the mountains and beautiful blue sky, I could not think of a more perfect outdoor venue.

We went to silver star from thurs- sun to ride. The bike park was good. There were no lineups only problem was that the trails weren't that difficult except for the pro line. Biggest disappointment was that there wasn't really anything open until the weekend. Only one restaurant/pub was open and the food was ok. The village also had no... More

My 11 year old son and I spent a couple of days riding the trails at Silver Star. This was our first experience riding downhill. We rode our own bikes the first day and then rented downhill bikes and gear on the second day. The hill was a great experience, well planned, marked, and maintained. The rental shop was very... For a large group event that basically takes over the Village its fantastic. The Village is generally quiet and services limited during the summer but for two weeks in July the PHSD Group brought music and fun to the Village. 8 am pipe band marches certainly wake you up and get the blood flowing. Great fun.
