All the achievements by Dornier, a much known name in the aircraft and component industry. You get to look inside some planes and see how cramped and basic it was for travellers. From early aircraft to satellite systems. Lots to see

I should quantify this review by admitting I have an interest in Dornier aircraft stretching back to 1993 when I first had the privilege of working for an airline which operated Dornier 228's and then 328's. This then, was a pilgrimage back to an amazing...More

Excellent displays in both German and English outlining the Dornier history. Great displays and history of the Dornier flying boats and was pleasing to see that the Nazi use of concentration camp labourers during WW2 was not glossed over. Well preserved aircraft outside with some...More

A great overview of the Dornier engineering of various types of airplanes - especially flying boats. Easy to get too on city bus.

The kids enjoyed very much the adventure they had in this place. Seeing and touching pieces of flight history vs other aviation means made the visit worth-wise. Very much recommended.

In the permanent exhibition a great selection of airplanes and aviation technologies throughout the decades is on display. Passenger planes from before WW2 and fighter jets as well as some space technologies. In addition to the hangar section there are some planes to see in...More
