Since there were renovations going on at some of the other Bergbahnen, we took the ride up the Kanzelwand. By far the most beautiful scenery in Kleinwassertal!

Took Kanzelwandbahn up to Bergstation, magnificent views to surrounding snow capped mountains on a beautiful sunny day. The walk up to the Walser Hammerspitze is a little bit challenging in places but well worth the effort. Awesome views also to the Kleinwalsertal.

Using the lift it's really easy to arrive to the summit of the mountain Fellhorn and you can either enjoy the view there or start a shorter or a longer hike. Many people seem to take the lift up and then walk the paved street down. Based on my experience, it's better to do it the other way around: take... More

We would have gone up here anyway but when we had the opportunity to include a Bergmesse we made sure not to miss it. The arena at the middle station was the perfect setting and the presence of a brass band and some alpine horn players made our Sunday Mass an unforgettable experience. Afterwards we took the cable car to... More

The ski lift is a short friends from town although there is a bus service. We rode up and walked down, this is quite a tough walk, we came down the road, quite steep in the main. There are loads of high paths to explore if you want to ride down and there are alternative paths down. We bought a... More

We caught the Fellhornbahn, walked across to the Kanzelwandbahn and return on our visit. The two cabin car trips are worth the effort and the trail between the two top stations had just opened after a bout of warm weather. The views are spectacular in almost every direction. The other fun bonus is that you get to walk into (and... More

This is a very good skiing area with rather easy runs. Excellent infrastructure and beautiful scenery. What I did not like: - very very busy (maybe bad luck on the weekend) with astonishing amount of people skiing very aggressively although it is obvious that they are not good skiers, ruthlessly taking over - there actually no accommodation on the slopes... Wonderful walk starting from the top of the Fellhorn cable car - less than an hour walk to the Kanzrlwandel, then an hour down to the intermediate cable car station. All with gorgeous scenery, pretty flowers, friendly greetings from others, a glorious sunny day with sharp blue sky
