We had A LOT of fruit to sample

We went 11 March. It was worth the money because there were lots of fruits to pick and eat, we had plums, peaches, apricots, tomatoes and a few varieties of each type. The only... read more

Overall the experience was okay. However when buying the tickets we were told we'd be able to eat "unlimited fruits from the trees." This was not the case and as soon as we got on the tour bus the tour guide said very clearly "no picking fruits off trees" and instead he was cutting the fruit so that everyone would... More

Went to Rayner's farm on 14 March 2017 and it was an enjoyable experience. Took the tractor and was brought around the farm. Free to pluck and eat during the tour. You can pluck and bring home at $5 per kilo. I had a wonderful time and experienced how to pluck the ripen fruit. Highly recommended fir children too. The... More

I did not know what to expect as I had never visited an Orchard before. I knew that it had a Tractor Ride so my 3 year old son and I took a trip. Well... amazing! We were warmly greeted by what seemed to be a family running the show, Nathan the son took us on the Tractor and even... More

We went 11 March. It was worth the money because there were lots of fruits to pick and eat, we had plums, peaches, apricots, tomatoes and a few varieties of each type. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because there is no speaker in the tractor, you cant actually hear the driver talking unless you're in one... More

After seeing a glossy brochure on this venue we travelled up to what we thought would be a gorgeous venue and experience. We were charged $28 per head to sit on a tractor drawn train travelling through the orchard where we could eat as much fruit as we liked. In all the different types of fruit it was hard to... More

great hosts, great activities (fruit picking, poaching fruits, canning fruits) and informative tour of the grounds. family run business highly respectful how they treat their farm and the environment. great work ethic, favourite part of my trip to melbourne. fruits were exotic, delicious and best of all, only exclusive to the farm, they're not sold elsewhere. take their fruits back... We took the 1hr tractor tour of the orchard which provided us with a good idea of what is grown and what is in season. Andrew the guide was knowledgeable about all the fruits in the orchard and let us stop at least 7-8 times during the tour to try out the fruits - by directly plucking them off the... More

This place is the answer on how to get our kids super excited about a place. The tour was amazing, with over 450 fruit types, lots of tasting and super well done and informative. Definitively a VERY HIGH recommendation with any family with children.

To be driven around the orchard in a trailer pulled by a tractor, stopping at intervals picking fruit which you purchase at the end. It was a great day to go out with the family, asking questions & seeing the fruit growing & ripening in front of you. There is also a restaurant where you can have lunch & a... More
