Lots of local history here.

We spent an hour visiting his museum. It is full of old and interesting items but very little is labelled or explained. I think they need the help of a professional curator .

We spent an hour visiting his museum. It is full of old and interesting items but very little is labelled or explained. I think they need the help of a professional curator .

If you want to see what people from Waiuku have collected lover the years, come to the Waiuku Museum. They have boxes of seashells, walls of bottles, doll collections, and a new barn with milking shed and sheep shearing shed. Lots of stuff to see, though not particularly well labelled (few labels), but a good picture of where old Waiuku... More

Waiuku Museum Set on the banks of the old Waiuku Harbour and part of Tamakae Reserve that is a growing collection of historical building from around Waiuku (A historical village in progress).
