This is definitely one of the more picturesque spots and is well worth a visit. Although the shops are very tourist oriented, the location and the atmosphere in general are amazing. I would advise going in warmer weather, although the lake frozen over is a great highlight.

We were there in winter, so a great white lake, great winter feeling. Very special is the small village directly at the lake.

Lovely setting with beautiful scenery. There was plenty of parking in the second car park (just under the bridge and a very short walk from town centre). The shops were bustling and very friendly. The lake was frozen but still very picturesque. Would recommend.

Lake titisee has awesome views and that is not all,you can rent a paddle boat and cruise leisurely or shop around for souvenirs or see a cuckoo clock demonstration

Lake Titisee is a beautiful, tranquil place where you can experience nature. There are several outdoor acrtivities offered for example the 8km trail around the lake. We were there in winter but Lake Titisee will also be a lovely Summer destination

I was recommended to visit it and it is probably a nice place to spend 2-3 hours, but I was there in January and it was very cold for walking.

Saw frozen lake for the first time so it was pretty fabulous to me. Market around it is pretty nice having lots of eateries and shops selling cuckoo clocks claiming the best. Its a pretty good market around the lake. Lots of fun activities with kids can be planned out

Nice lake, boat ride has beautiful views, fun activities, water fun for young kids and teenagers. Water slide, pool, SAP kayaking, and also dry activities such as cafes and mini golf.

In mid December it was so beautiful. The lake looked still with dense pine forest ('the black forest') on its edge. The village is awesome, too. The shops sell wine at very affordable price. And a visit to Drubba Shop is a must , I think. It is the maker of the famous wooden cuckoo clock. You can see the making... More

The wife and me was part of a tour group and this was one of the tourist destinations when you are in Germany. We were there in Mid December during winter. The lake was beautiful and we saw quite a number of ducks swimming in the lake. We found it comical that a feeble creature like a small duck could... More
