Lake Titisee offers you a whole day of fun and excitement for the entire family. You can do boating and even swimming so go well prepared with costumes n towels. It has lot of shops around but limited full meal options. Tip: Near the lake parking is not possible so if you go till P2, there is a big water... More

Things I can recommend to do here: 1. Rent SUPs. For us is was the first time and everyone got hooked. Fun experience. We rented the SUPs at the strandbad beach (with entrance fee or free with red card). The beach has a huge lawn, volleyball courts and a nice size pool. 2. Bring a picnic lunch and beers and... More

Lake Titisee is very beautiful. There's a nice walk around the lake and the town has plenty of activities and restaurants. It's in the southern part of the Black Forest with lots to do all round. Strongly recommended.

We stopped at Lake Titsee on our way from Freiburg to Fussen. What a beautiful lake surrounded by the alps! We enjoyed a picnic on the banks of the lake and cooled our feet in the water. Lots of tourist shops and options for boat rides. Too bad we did not have enough time to further explore the area. Next... More

we stayed near Lake Titisee, and used the pool, hired pedalos on the lakes and ate here a few times. The lake area is beautiful, the swimming area is very good with an outdoor heated pool and excellent changing facilities. Food in the area is good value for money, and excellent sized portions, we ate a black forest special platter complete... More

Yes it's a tourist trap, however if we had more time we would have rented a boat, gone for a hike and enjoyed the lake. The shops are classy for a tourist trap and were excellent for stocking up on the local ham and cheese for a picnic. Got lots of presents to take home too. Plan to come back... More

We spent five days in Titisee and we had a wonderful time there. The lake is very nice with a cyclepath or walkway around it.There are boat trips available and they last about 30 minutes. The town itself is small and compact. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops close to the lake.A lovely place to spend a relaxing time in

We drove here on a very hot afternoon, parked in the big car park by the station and strolled down to the lake. First stop was coffee and black forest gateaux by the lake front. Then after a little wander around the shops and shore I suggested to my wife and two teenage sons to walk around the lake as... More

Very commercialized, much more than other lakes in the area, but there is a beauty to it. We like the ferris wheel and the boat ride on the lake (15 Euro for 30 minutes on a self driven motor boat) Nice main shopping street with food, fruit, souvenirs and much more)
