This must be the last word in historical thermes. It is at a level much, much higher than the Friedrichsbad in Baden Baden. Take the stairs down from the reception area to the bottom floor, the original area built in 1844 in a style right...More

Lovely inside, well kept etc. I didn't enjoy the experience myself as I was unaware it was a nudist spa.

Palais Thermal is a top rated spa and deserves its reputation. The building architecture is great to see and the spa is a bonus. The pool upstairs is outdoors and worth the price of admission, especially on a cold, snowy day like when I was...More

I visited yesterday and I was positively impressed. It is a large place, with many saunas and tubs to relax. The tub on the roof I think it's the main attraction, but you are allowed only to enter naked. I was not used to go...More

Whenever we are in a German town we see if it has a spa, look at what is on offer before deciding to visit, the recent visit to Palais Thermal with my wife did not disappoint. The old and beautifully decorated baths are on the...More

We rocked up with our bathers expecting to enjoy the bottom floor, but it's closed for renovations. One pool is open for non-naked people, but no Jacuzzis. You have to strip off butt naked in the top floor to get bubbles. I never thought I...More

I spent 3 hours here and it was plenty. The view from the upper floor outside pool is fantastic, especially on a cold, clear day. I would spend some of your day taking the funicular to the top of Baumwipfelpfad Schwarzwald... More

The entire facility is mixed male and female. The bottom level, which is the historical level, is clothing optional. The upper floors are nude only.
