We parked at the last pay parking lot, not realizing that there was free parking all along the road to the trail head. At the trail head take the fork to the left (sign says "steineger" (rocky) which goes along the left side of the river and has good access to all of the falls. Keep going after what seems to be the main fall because there is more. Further on two streams merge and there is a bridge to the other side. From there you return on a much smoother and less steep path which is good going down hill. RT from the trail head was about 2 km.

No indications along the way, no parking possibilities, do not go there if you are not a trekker. The “waterfalls” are actually a stretch of small falls, totally disappointing.

This was really a nice hike with the "reward" at the end of a picturesque waterfall -- the hike itself was not too challenging although there's a bit of uphill climbing involved.

At the beginning of the trail though, there's a sign (unfortunately only in German) "warning" hikers that the path was not accessible due to fallen trees and a broken bridge. We decided to start the hike anyways and turn back when we couldn't go any further. In the end, it turned out that we could make it past the fallen trees (even when at times it looked as if we wouldn't be able to), and the broken bridge was just at the end, under the waterfall, to be able to cross over to the other side for a view -- it was indeed broken, but it didn't prevent us from reaching and seeing the waterfall, so I don't understand why they "discourage" hikers from reaching it... I also think that instead of investing in putting up a sign telling hikers there are fallen trees and a broken bridge, they should better clear the trees and fix the bridge. This aspect was somewhat disappointing, but overall it's a very nice hike and definitely worth doing.

Very nice waterfall but very arduous rocky right path. Be sure to put on good hiking boots. The trail is a circular trail and the descent on the left is super nice and easy to walk.
