The view of Neuschwanstein and the gorge below the Marienbrucke is our favorite in the whole world. There is often a mist around the castle which adds to the romance of the castle!

You can leave the crowds of Neuschwanstein and hike down to the foot of the waterfall then continue thru the Poellat gorge to the village of Hohenschwangau. Allow about an hour.
