We went there to pin our starting point for the Elbe cycle tour. The evening light is superb, do go there there late when the sun is coming down. It does get windy but worthwhile.

It was a really windy, chilly day, but it was certainly a site worth seeing. Be sure to be prepared for the weather.

this is a must see when in cuxhaven. It’s a nice and easy walk to get there. It’s not just a historical site...

Nice place, with nice view of many big ships. Good for walking and spend some time on beach. Binoculars are very useful here and good waterproof jacket. In winter parking is free.

This is a must when in Cuxhafen. A nice trip in the sand to the sea. Parking very close. Very windy.

We went to Kugelbake to see the water and the Fort. Was a nice view of the sea but we were a bit disappointed to learn that it cost money to visit the beach area even without going for a swim.

The wood sign has been placed long ago, where the Elbe River flows into the North Sea. The place is interesting.

A good walk and plenty of fresh air. Information board could be better if it also had some English with it.
