Go see it. It is moving. We could only see it from outside the gate. It is a pilgrimage kind of place. Not visited a lot per a local.

We went to the Jewish cemetery and what we found were ancient gravestones all leaning in different directions. Also the grass hadn't been cut in a while probably due to the daily rain for the past 3 weeks so it looked very overgrown, unkempt and non inviting. I would have gone away very disappointed but we had an amazing English... More

Rich with history, this is a an amazing place to see. Much smaller than the cemetery in Prague, but still worthy of a stop - easily accessible after visiting the dom. Great for history lovers.

I traveled to Worms mainly because this cemetery and I was highly disappointed as it was closed. What I could see over the fence wasn't worth traveling at all. Place was overgrown with grass and looked like it is not maintained well. Although I understand historical and cultural value of this place it didn't impress me.

It does not matter that this cemetery is overgrown with grass and spring flowers, and sunken grave stones going back to the 10th century CE.. Here is history, somewhere to think about the last 100 years, and as you walk around, to recognise the continuity of a people oppressed but not forgotten. Sobering then.

I am always fascinated by Jewish cemeteries and the fact that this one of the oldest in Germany made it even more interesting. Many of the tomb stones are unreadable and are tucked under trees or in groups. It is a lovely walk from the center of Worms.

I was very impressed at how well up kept this cemetery is and was intrigued at the headstones of those innocent who lost their lives.
