Missed the tour, but the person who worked there was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Also, they let you try all the mustard before you buy it.

As one of my favorite condiments, how could I not stop in and try some mustard? Neat little tasting area and store - we ordered a brat to go with our favorite from the tasting. My one recommendation for them would be to use pretzel...More

One of Europe's oldest mustard factories, founded in 1810, you can still get here a very fine mustard, made from natural spices and with historical recipes. They also sell local liquor. You can participate in a guided tour of the factory with a nominal fee....More

Walked around for a couple of hours. Nice old houses , lots of restaurants and shops. Very nice as it lays beside the mosel river.

If possible, Take the tour to see the production. English spoken. There are several types of mustard available. They are not strong, but very aromatic.

Cochem was very, very busy and parking almost impossible to find. We were charged twice as much for two coffees here then in Bernkastel-Keus. The town was full of impolite school children. The cobbled streets are very pretty but much prefer Bernkastel-Keus

Beautifully preserved it is fascinating to walk about the narrow cobblestone streets all lined with one magnificent, colorful building after another. There are lots of cafes and bars.

Well, is part of the visit to Cochem and can´t miss it. It has this flavour of medieval cities well preserved, and is one of the hot spots of the area without any doubt. Amazing castle, amazing city center worth a visit of a day...More
