With volunteers who enter into the spirtit of re-living the history of education this preserved school really comes alive. The galleried classroom, Lancastrian open plan area are full of atmosphere and totally unique.

We visited the nature reserve with our doggies. Despite living in the area, I had no idea this place existed and was pleasantly surprised by the idyllic surroundings. The reserve has a lovely circular walk, which we are the pooches enjoyed.
