We took the gondola up only to mid point (Vorsass) because we got a late start (after 15:00) and hiked down on trail #6. The hike was made more challenging by the fact it had rained during the morning and the trail was muddy in...More

We rode up to the top of the mountain on the cable car. The ride was nice, great views of the mountainside, cows and trees. We unfortunately went on a cloudy day and had to wait a while for the clouds to subside to see...More

A nice way to get here is on the boat from Thun or Interlaken. Then take the funicular to Beatenberg ( the longest village in Europe, 7k) & then gondola to the top. The views are jaw-dropping!!! Back to Interlaken by bus. Superb.

It is a phenomenal experience and takes your mind to a different state when you can see a 360 of Alpes plus the Thun lake!!! Love it, I am already planning to return early spring to see more of the snowy mountains.

A place to take the time to visit and feel like Heidi in the Swiss mountains. Paragliding is also an option;-)

Not a great fan of cable cars but it was definitely worth it when we got to the top. Scenery was stunning and although there was a lot of people about it was very peaceful.
