Excellent beaches, good meals and drink and a very good attention. An excellent day on this place. We didn't expect the beauty and exciting was this excursion. We really thankful the service of the employees , sailor and bartenders.

Wonderful day trip to saona island. Catamaran picks you up for an hour ride to the island. Lovely beach , great food and entertainment . On the way back they stop at the pool where you can see starfish. Great family or couples activity.

We took the Saona Island excursion. Speed boat to a natural pool in ocean to swim, drink, and take pictures. Continued on to Saona. Beach is beautiful! Food was good but everything was gone quick. Get in line to get your food, otherwise people will...More

Well organised and fun from start to finish! Our guide Jose talked about the history of the Dominican Republic on the long bus ride there. Very well educated fella and mixed in cracking humour too . Traveled on the catamaran to the island. Stopping off...More

We deliberated whether to go to Catalina Island or to Saona. The group was divided but in the end, we settled on Saona. It was a beautiful day and the ride to the island on the catamaran was fun: music, dancing, rum and coke, ham...More

You’ve got to do this trip ... it’s paradise. The fast boat and swim in the natural pool were amazing but the catamaran on the way back was way too noisy with music but still worth the headache to see such beauty 🌴🌞

Saona Island is very exotic. Beautiful white sand, clear turquois water, friendly people. Went to this Island 5 years ago on an excursion from Punta Cana. Was so much fun. On our way there on the catamaran, we stopped in waist deep water to find...More

I'm sure there are, but it would probably be better to stay at La Romana, Casa De Campo or Bahahibe as they are much closer. It's a two hour drive just to get to the boat if you leave from Santo Domingo. My brother lives... More

You don't have to go into the water at all. In fact, I didn't at all beside just jumping off the ferry boat into shallow ankle deep water at the beach.
