We opted for the museum and tea tasting visit. The museum is quite interesting, but could perhaps do with a little modernisation. It was fascinating to discover where famous UK brands such as PG, Typhoo and 99 got their names from! The tea tasting was...More

Short version: - Poor information for a popular tourist site - Museum not very interesting - Road to tea tasting was terrible, verging on dangerous in bad weather - Tea tasting was extremely underwhelming, and no biscuits were provided. Only overpriced waffles and crepes were...More

The museum itself has a rather faded and run down atmosphere but was interesting none the less. Unfortunately we went on a day when the factory was closed although we knew this would be the case - so check. Tea tasting in the restaurant was...More

First we were taken on a tour of the tea factory itself. Then you visit the actual plantation and the grounds. Deer and swans freely roam around. Tea is served on the balcony overlooking the lake and grounds. Just wow!!! Sampled around 15 different teas...More

We visited privately in a hire car. As we were hungry and it wasn't particularly obvious where to start the visit we drove to the restaurant first. We were asked if we had a voucher, we were puzzled and said we didn't know anything about...More

This place has a restaurant with a great view overlooking a pond. The food is passable, nothing great to commend itself for. There is a shop which allows you to taste the various flavours and of course buy it from them.

Very happy from today's visit. The museum was interesting to see, the English guide very helpful. Nice experience. Restaurant at the top - amazing view, very good value for money food, very delicious, quite happy with the service. Definitely would recommend.

its open for tea tasting but if public holiday in mauritius then the factory does not operate so cannot view the tea manufacturing process.
Hi! I live in the USA and wanted to know if you could direct me to an importer of your Trois Pavillons Vanilla Tea (loose leaf) that will ship here to California. Thank you! MSH

Afraid I can't answer this. I merely did a tour of the factory.
