This beach is a long stretch of not so white sand . The waves are excellent for surfing . You can stroll to the beach

It's an awesome visit in sabang beach. Early morning is the best time to experience the fresh air and join with many to enjoy the beach with surfing activities. Overall, its the best summer relaxation with my family!

The sand is gray and there are some debris on the beach but not near the shoreline. We weren't permitted swim at our side of the beach, at night at least since our host warned us that the depth is really deep especially at night...More

I was disheartened to see people leaving trash by the beach. It was obvious that old coconuts, palm leaves and garbage are left for days and are not really cleaned regularly. The beach may be black but the sand is fine. The area in front...More

Baler is certainly a place to visit if you intend to try surfing. Sabang Beach is perfect, because the water is nice and not too salty (high salinity waters can really hurt the skin), and the beaches aren't too rough. There are places to go...More

Baler was such a long drive from Manila, but when I saw the waves at Sabang Beach I fell in love. This is where I had my first ever surf. Instructors are abound and the class is around 300-350 per hour inclusive of board rental....More

Suppose this is a good place for surfers as it is the only activity we have seen. The beach has dark sand and did not look clean at all. Dirt, prices of wood and various stuff all over the place.

Not very ideal for a child to swim because of the waves.. but he can play in the shores as long as you can watch over or with inflaters. 👍🏻
